Forgotten password

Go to domaine.fr, click forgotten password and use the mail address registered in your customer account (on which you receive our emails). You will receive an email domaine.fr which contains a link, click on this link and recreate a password. If you do not see the email -- Reset Password -- look in spam.

Password update

To update the password of your customer account, go to your dashboard and click on update my password.

Account details update

To update your account details, go to your dashboard and click on update my profile. You can not change your email address by an address already in use by another client account on domaine.fr because it serves as a login and can be attributed to one customer account at a time.

Mailbox password update

To update the password of a mailbox, go to your dashboard and click on my domain names. Click on the Go to Plesk of the domain name. You will be redirected to the Plesk server in charge of managing your hosting services. If this is the first time you access it, please complete the information form that is presented to you.

Access to this interface requires cookies to be enabled on your machine and access to port 8443. If you connect through a local network or firewall and you have problems accessing your account, contact your network administrator so that it releases the port. Go to the menu «Mail», select the address you need to change, enter a new password, confirm it and «OK».

Contacts update

To update the admin, technical and billing contacts of a domain name, go to my domain names and click on Other operations and Update the contacts.

DNS update

Please follow this link my domain names. Click on Other operations and Update the DNS.

Please make sure that you correctly configured the domain name on the new servers before updating so that the zone check does not fail.

Change your order method of payment

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the header click My Orders, then the concerned order
  3. Click on the black button Cancel Order
  4. Finally replace your order by selecting the right payment.

To pay by credit card we use the 3D Secure (your bank makes the link between you and domaine.fr) and the order is immediately validated; For payment by wire transfer, all the information are procured to make the transfer via your bank account, the order is confirmed upon receipt of payment (it may take up to two days); for payment by check, the order is confirmed when we receive the check (it may take up two days).

Website

To transfer your website on our server, you need a hosting. If you only have a Pack standard, go to your dashboard and click on Upgrade. You can then select the pack that suits you and your FTP access will be immediately sent by email.

Web forwarding

To make a web redirection, go to the menu «Websites & domains» and Hosting settings
Enter the new URL in Destination URL

You can choose between two types of redirection:

  • Standard forwarding: Redirect visitors to another site and show them the destination address, so they know about the forwarding.
  • Frame forwarding: Redirect visitors to another site but do not show them the destination address, so they do not know about the forwarding.

Mailbox creation

To create an e-mail account or an e-mail redirection, go to the menu «Mail».
Click on «Create Email Address», enter the name account (foregoing the @), then a password, confirm it and «OK»

To create a redirection click on «Forwarding», «Switch on mail forwarding» and enter the forwarding address in «Forward incoming messages to the following email address» and «OK».

You can now access your email account via the web interface from the address: http://webmail.yourdomainname.fr

OR via Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird… with these following parameters:

  • Incoming mail server (POP): mail.yourdomainname.fr
  • Outgoing Mail Server: (SMTP): mail.yourdomainname.fr or your ISP (for example smtp.orange.fr)
  • Account name: the one you just created
  • Password: the one you just give to your email account

Mailbox suspension

Please click on the Domain Name tab, then click the link of the domain name Pack. You can then check the quota and email accounts. If you are over-use of the space available for your domain name, ask for reactivation by creating a ticket (Support tab) so that you can free up space in your mailboxes via Webmail and board directly under the limit allowed before midnight; or delete email addresses if you have the standard pack (it allows a single 100MB email address).

Show/Hide on Whois

On your dashboard, click on Show/Hide on Whois and check/unckeck the box in the form.

Unlock a domain name

To unlock a domain name, go to my domain names and click on Other operations and Lock/Unlock the domain.

AuthInfo transfer code

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Support
  3. Click on the yellow button Create a new ticket
  4. In the text portion ask for the code with the concerned domain name
  5. Click on the yellow button Send
  6. When the support has answered, please keep the same ticket until the problem is resolved and follow the procedure to transfer your domain name correctly

DNS records update

DNS section is reserved for network administrators or users who know perfectly manage all DNS records. By performing a misconfiguration or by deleting some records, you may cause a total malfunction of your domain name. The restoration of these data by our support centers are not included in the services that accompany your domain name, any intervention on our part to restore the correct data will be charged 90 Euros HT/hour with a minimum charge of one hour intervention. That is why we strongly recommend that you take precautions before making any changes.

For extensions other than .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info, it is imperative not to touch the DNS records within 24 hours of the domain name deposit.

  1. To change DNS settings got to the menu «Websites & Domains», click on your domain name and «DNS settings»
  2. Click on the record you need to change or on «Add record» to create a new one and «OK»
  3. Click on «Update» to apply the changes to DNS zone or click Revert to abandon the changes

Registration

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Registration
  3. Test the availability of the domain name in the space provided for. If the domain name is available click on the button Add to cart and Purchase
  4. Choose the period you want to register the domain: 1 year to 10 years; choose the pack you need. Click Next Step
  5. Choose in your contact list the Owner, Admin and Technical contacts and choose Billing contact too OR click on Import and creation of a new user – Import and create users that will be linked to your client account. Click on Next step
  6. Choose DNS linked to your domain name and Next step
  7. Check the products in your shopping cart and check the box I accept the terms of sales. The payment will then be displayed:
    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  8. Select your payment method and set the command

Renewal

You can renew at any time of the year and up to the anniversary, 365 days will be added to the remaining days of your domain name. If payment is not received on time, your domain name will expire (redemption) and you will have to restore it.

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Renewal
  3. Click on the yellow button Renew and Purchase
  4. Choose the renewal period, then click Next Step
  5. Check the products in your shopping cart and check the box I accept the terms of sales. The payment will then be displayed:
    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  6. Select your payment method and set the command

Restoration

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Restoration
  3. Click on the yellow button Restore and Purchase
  4. The restoration adds 1 year to your domain name. Click Next Step
  5. Check the products in your shopping cart and check the box I accept the terms of sales. The payment will then be displayed:
    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  6. Select your payment method and set the command

    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  7. Select your payment method and set the command

Hosting upgrade

  3. Choose the pack you need between Pack Perso, Pack Gold and Pack Platinum (for Pack Platinum please contact us). Click on the pack yellow button and Purchase
  4. Choose the period you want the pack: 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or 12 months. Click Next Step
  5. Check the products in your shopping cart and check the box I accept the terms of sales. The payment will then be displayed:
    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  6. Select your payment method and set the command

  3. Choose the add-on you need between Mailboxes (+5), Mailbox space (+200Mo), Mailbox space (+500Mo), Mailbox space (+1000Mo). Click on the add-on yellow button and Purchase.
  4. Choose the period you want the add-on: 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or 12 months. Click Next Step
  5. Check the products in your shopping cart and check the box I accept the terms of sales. The payment will then be displayed:
    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  6. Select your payment method and set the command

    • on the left in blue credit card
    • on the right in yellow wire transfers and checks
  7. Select your payment method and set the command

Transfer out (authinfo)

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Support
  3. Click on the yellow button Create a new ticket
  4. Choose the request type: technical. Write your domain name and that you need its authinfo code. Click on the yellow button Send
  5. When the support has answered, please keep the same ticket until the problem is resolved
  6. If the problem is solved close the ticket

Support

  1. Log in to your account by clicking on Sign in on the top of the page
  2. On the home page in the Services Management click Support
  3. Click on the yellow button Create a new ticket
  4. Choose the request type between Commercial, Administrative and Technical
  5. Enter the subject of your request WITH THE DOMAIN NAME CONCERNED.
  6. In the text portion describe the situation and provide as much detail as possible (what is the issue, paste the error messages ...). Click on the yellow button Send
  7. When the support has answered, please keep the same ticket until the problem is resolved
  8. If the problem is solved close the ticket
